Grace Evelyn Bryson, aged 78, passed away at Lovelace Westside Hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on August 18, 2022, of heart complications during surgery.

She was born November 2, 1943, in Warren, Ohio, to the late Robert and Blanche Gorby. She completed many certifications in the medical and agricultural fields. Her work carried her around the United States, where she touched many lives with her wisdom and faith in God. She loved to travel the States and settled in Homestead, Florida, Myrtle Beach, SC, Nashville, Tn, and Woodruff, SC. Recently, she met her new love, Jerry Pepin, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, who she was visiting at the time of her death.

Grace was a member of First Baptist Church in Woodruff, SC., and loved her church family. During her time in Woodruff, she was active in church and passed her love for God and her passion for cooking to the next generations. She worked with the women and children’s shelters and volunteered her time cooking for the homeless. Grace was quick-witted, knowledgeable, and had a hug ready for anyone who needed one. She was married to the love of her life, the late Robert Bryson.

She is survived by her sister Lois McBride, daughters Michelle Barbour (Husband; Mike), Lyn Eatherly (Husband; Gregg), Paige Bryson, Angel Johnson, and son, Russel Hill (Wife: Sandi). Grand Children include; Angel Edwards, Summer Albright, J.E.Kostur IV, Beth Mamot, Edward Eatherly, Megan Etherly, Brittany Combs, Taylor Johnson, and Hunter Johnson. She has numerous great-grandchildren (16).

A celebration of life will be held later at the First Baptist Church, 801 Cross Anchor Blvd, Woodruff, SC. The date and time will be announced and posted on Facebook sometime in September 2022. Please send donations and flowers to the church in Woodruff, SC.
