Gloria Lina Armijo

Lina Luna Armijo, 76, passed from this earthly world on Wednesday October 23, 2024 and is now joyfully dancing in Heaven with our Lord and Saviour Jesus!

Lina was born on September 19th, 1948 in Punta de Agua, NM, and after graduating from high school, moved to Albuquerque. Throughout her life, Lina loved music, dancing, reading and always took advantage to learn new skills ranging from Jujitsu, Travel Agent, Florist, Massage or anything else she could! Lina was very energetic and had a successful career in which she retired from Quest Communications.

Lina is preceded in her death by her father Alfredo Luna and mother Teresa Otero, and brothers Melcor and Moises Alderete. Lina is survived by her brother Floreno (Joe) Alderete and wife Carmen, sister Viola Sisneros, brother Alfredo (Freddie) Luna and sister Rosie Baca. Lina’s daughter, Monica Montano and husband Nevin, their children Jazmyn Montano, Breana Zapata husband Richy (great-grand sons Fabian and Emiliano), Nevin Montano Jr and Destiny Montano. Lina’s son Ross Armijo Jr and his daughters Ezra Armijo and Azure Armijo. She is also survived by countless loving nephews, nieces, cousins and friends!

Pall Bearers: Martin Alderete, Phillip Crespin, Nevin Montano Sr., Ross Armijo Jr., Phillip Sanchez, and Nevin Montano Jr. Honorary Pall Bearer Edward Baca. 

Services and Interment to be held on Thursday October 31st, 2024 

Rosary of the Glorious Mysteries at 10am

Celebration of life Mass at 11am
