Gertrudes (Trudy) Piazza, born on November 24, 1941, peacefully passed away surrounded by family on February 15, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents, Placido & Louisa P-Otero, her husband Alphonse Piazza, and her brother Phil (Doonie) Otero.
Trudy was a beloved and loving Mom, Grandma, Grammy Grams, Sister, Aunt, and Friend. She is survived by her daughter Carol Roybal, grandsons Milton and Jose (Joseph) Hernandez, great grandsons Kevin and Tino Hernandez, and sisters Mary (Fally) Baca and Mary Ann Mancha. Additionally, she was an adoptive Aunt and Grandma to many nieces and nephews.
Services to celebrate Trudy's life will be held on Friday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church located at 820 Broadway Blvd. SE. The Recitation of the Holy Rosary will commence at 8:30 am followed by the Funeral Mass at 9:00 am.
May her soul rest in peace.
