Gerald Sanders Whitaker Jr. left this earth on Friday, January 31st 2025.

Gerald was a lifelong fan of the Houston Texans, his military service, and Bigfoot. He was a loving father of his son Joseph and loved exploring our nation in his 20 year trucking career. 

His sense of humor and love for those in his life always shined through to everyone who knew him. 

He is survived by his loving mother, Florence Thomas, his father, Gerald Sanders Whitaker Sr, his brothers Marlon Whitaker and Benny Whitaker, his son Joseph Whitaker and his step mother Mary Jean Whitaker.

He was always a light in this world and will continue to shine in the heavens.
