George M. Nunez

George Nunez joined his beloved parents and brothers in heaven on Saturday, September 28th, 2024. George, age 60, was preceeded in death by his parents Leandro and Irene Nunez, and his brothers Paul and Anthony Nunez. George is survived by his wife Patricia Tapia-Nunez, and his daughters Dominique, Simone, Christina, Annaliesse, and Samantha. George is also survived by his siblings Melvin Nunez (Sandra), Rick Nunez (Lynn), Corrine Campbell (Richard), Bernadette Padilla, Jeanette Cordova, Judy Saavedra (Marcus), and lifelong friends, Shawn Welch and Jesus Sedillo. George was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. A sci-fi and Star Trek enthusiast, he also had a great love of live music, New Mexican food, spending time outdoors, and watching the Green Bay Packers. George always knew how to crack a joke; his sense of humor will forever be intertwined with his legacy. A celebration of life will be held at Olympus Event Center, located at 4591 Vista Fuente Rd NW, Albuquerque, NM 87114 on Sunday, October 13, 2024 at 2:30 pm. The family would like to thank the Presbyterian Downtown ICU, NM Donor Services, and his friends at Liberty Dialysis Center.
