Gabriel Aniceto Varoz

Gabriel “Gabe” Aniceto Varoz, 30, passed away on November 16, 2024, at his home in Albuquerque, NM.

Gabe was born in Albuquerque, NM and was the youngest of 3 children. He graduated from Manzano High School in 2014 and enlisted in the Air Force right after where he would pursue training in special forces. Gabe married his high school sweetheart, Samantha on November 21, 2015, and they have 2 beautiful children together- Oliver, 3, and Emilia,1. Gabe loved being outdoors- hiking, camping and exploring. Some of his favorite things included making food with Sam, taking on new things and eating the hottest hot sauces he could find. He had a stubborn "spicy" side for sure, was generous and kind, and had a great sense of humor. Above all, he loved God, and his family fiercely. 

Gabe is survived by his wife, Samantha Varoz, children, Oliver and Emilia Varoz, his mother, Anita Garcia, brother Corey Varoz and wife, Nikki, sister Jessica Varoz, nieces and nephews, Elijah, Kayden, Kaia, Emry, and Riley as well as his “other” parents, Aaron and Aimee Jaramillo, sisters (in law), McKenzie and Eliana Jaramillo and numerous other family and friends. Gabe is preceded in death by his father, Neto, who surely met him with open arms.

The memorial service will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 300 Gold SE on December 18, 2024, at 11am. A reception and celebration of life will follow in the Parish Hall. Please come as you are to join us in celebrating Gabe.
