Frankie Gonzales (known as Frank, Dad, and G), born August 24, 1966 in Albuquerque, NM, passed away on March 21, 2025. Devoted husband, father, and grandfather (G), Frank was known for his thoughtful gestures, silly sense of humor, and kind heart. He worked as the Environmental Services Supervisor at La Vida Llena for 35 years. Frank was an avid sports fan and loved the Dallas Cowboys, Houston Astros, LA Lakers, and Norte Dame football team. He loved March Madness and cheered for the Lobos. Known as “G” to his granddaughters, he never missed an opportunity to show them support in everything they did. Frank is proceeded in death by his grandparents, Rosendo and Felomena Gonzales, grandma, Ramona Amador, and his many aunts and uncles.
Frankie is survived by his wife, Yvette, their daughters, Nichole and Francine, daughter in-law, Angel Martinez, and his granddaughters, Amiah and Aleah; as well as his mother, Theresa Gonzales, brother, Manuel Gonzales Sr., niece, Hayley Boucher, nephew, Manuel Gonzales Jr., sister, Olivia Rodriguez, brother in-law, Manuel Rodriguez, and nephew, Issac Rodriguez.
Services will be held on April 9th, from 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm at the Trujillo Family Funeral Home Chapel, located at 110 Alvarado Drive SE Albuquerque, NM 87108. Mass will be held on April 10th from 10:30 am- 12: 00 pm at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, located at 811 Guaymas Pl NE, Albuquerque, NM 87108. Burial will follow at Fairview Memorial Park at 700 Yale Blvd. SE Albuquerque, NM 87106.
Serving as Pallbearers will be Manuel Gonzales Sr., Manuel Gonzales Jr., Antonio Legarreta Sr., Antonio Legarreta Jr., Angelo Legarreta, Manuel Rodriguez, Issac Rodriguez, and Dominic Flores.
