Flora Belle Drew (nee Whittiker)

Our mother, Flora, passed away peacefully at home on January 23, 2023 surrounded by family. She was born on August 9, 1923 in Haskell County, Oklahoma to Elija and Amy Whittiker. Flora is survived by her sons, Alfred Chavez, Robert Chavez and Thomas Chavez; daughters Arlene With and Kathleen McQuillan and brother David Whittiker. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews, other relatives and loving family friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elija & Amy Whittiker, sisters Mae
Crase, Faye McKinney, Gertrude Sanders, Pauline Sampson, Aline Nance, Sue
Baily, Dorothy Stern and Sylvia Walker; brothers Charlie, Riley, Ralph, Billy and
James Whittiker, Roy, J.P. and Norman Richards and her grandson Aiden McQuillan.

Viewing and Rosary will be held at the Trujillo Family Funeral Home in
Albuquerque, NM beginning at 11:00AM on Tuesday January 31, 2023. Burial at
Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery will follow the Rosary.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Flora’s name be made to the
Salvation Army, Catholic Charities or a charity of your choice.
