Faye Montoya

Faye Liberty Anna Jinzo Montoya, loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on July 7, 2024, at her home in Elephant Butte, NM. She was 42. Faye is preceded in death by her beloved grandparents, Jose and Maria Montano, and her brother, Jose Jinzo. She is survived by the family that she cherished, children, John and girlfriend, Daisha, Liberty, and Sarah Montoya; mother, Guadalupe Emanuel and husband, Darren; brothers, Charlie and Albert; as well as her aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, godchildren and friends.

Faye devoted her life to caring for her family. She loved to cook and share meals. Faye loved spending time with her kids and godchildren; like movie nights, trips to the lake and days and nights telling stories, talking and listening, giving advice. She always made sure that they knew, whatever they could ever need, she would be there for them no matter what. She valued her happy memories, and loved to take and collect photos at every holiday, every party or any memorable night in. She always wanted nothing more than to see her family grow and thrive, and to see them all together creating more memories. Faye will be remembered by all of us who were lucky enough to have shared laughs, good times and hard times, and so much love.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 2, 2024, at Trujillo Family Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 3:30 p.m. followed by a Rosary and Prayer Service at 4:00 p.m.
