Evelyn Delia Archuleta

Evelyn Delia Archuleta, 77 passed away peacefully on March 25, 2024.  Evelyn was born on March 4, 1947, in Albuquerque, NM to Castillo and Betty Salazar. She is survived by her husband Leroy of 53 years, son, Gabriel Aragon his girlfriend Penny Amador, daughter, Elaine Gurule and her husband Ruben Gurule; grandchildren; Diamond, Danielle, Damien, JJ (John), and Alia, great grandchildren; Mateo, Sapphire, Luke and Mylah; brothers; Ray, George, Orlie, and Arthur Salazar.  She is proceeded in death by her mom and dad; Castillo and Betty, brothers Louie and Gilbert; and her beloved son Gary. Evelyn grew up in Martinez town and graduated from Albuquerque High School in 1966.  Evelyn went on to marry Leroy in 1970, soon after they moved to Los Lunas, where they would raise their family and live for the next forty years.

Evelyn will always be remembered for her love of plants and flowers; as she naturally had a green thumb.  She had a real passion for growing any type of greenery.  Their home and backyard were always full of plants and beautiful flowers of many colors that would be admired by those who came to visit.

A memorial service will be on April 25, 2024 at 12:00 pm at New Beginnings Church, located at 4770 Montgomery Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109, with a reception to follow.
