It is with great love that we celebrate the life of Dora Vigil that began in Canjilon, NM, 68 years ago.  Dora was 1 of 7 children, born to parents Filiberto and Juanita Vigil.  Dora was an amazing cook.  She loved to spend time with family and her dogs (Boots, Jimbo, and Gizzy).  She enjoyed sewing, making blankets for her grandchildren, and doing crafts.  Dora is survived by 2 sons, Gerome Apodaca & James Apodaca and 1 daughter Jenell Haley (husband Jeff), 2 grandchildren from Socorro, Audria Apodaca (husband Jose), Melanie Gonzales (husband Timothy), 2 grandchildren from Westminster, Gerome Apodaca Jr. and Billy Apodaca, 1 grandchild from Barstow, Kayla Chavira, 7 grandchildren from Albuquerque, Bianca Green, Vince Green, Justine Maynard, Alina Apodaca, Ryan Moore-Apodaca, Aiden Haley, and Layla Apodaca, 15 great grandchildren, and 1 brother Gilbert Vigil.  She was preceded in death by sister Erlinda Garcia, sister Magdalena Leyba, sister Silda Gonzales, sister Lola, brother Leo Vigil, and grandson Neil Green.  Dora had many family members and friends who loved her; she will forever be missed.  A Visitation and Funeral Service will be held on Friday January 20, 2023 beginning at 1:00 pm at the Trujillo Family Funeral Chapel.
