Donny Gonzalez, age 46, of Albuquerque, NM, passed away at his residence on Saturday, August 5th, 2023.

Donny Gonzalez was born on July 23, 1977, in Wichita Falls, TX, and was raised in La Regina, MX from the ages of 4 to 13. At the age of 13, he embarked on a new chapter in Albuquerque, NM, where he would create a lasting legacy through his unwavering dedication and entrepreneurial spirit. Donny's life journey was marked by a remarkable spirit of resilience, determination, and a relentless pursuit of excellence.

He attended Middle School, High School, and College in Albuquerque, NM, leaving his mark on the academic landscape and building connections that would last a lifetime. Donny's dedication to his education culminated in his graduation from Highland High School, and he further pursued his passion for learning by obtaining a bachelor's degree in business from the University of New Mexico.

A devoted father, uncle, and friend, Donny's commitment to his family and loved ones knew no bounds. He was a beacon of strength and bravery, always there to lend a helping hand and offer his unwavering support when needed. Donny's good heart shone brightly in his interactions, leaving an enduring impact on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Donny is survived by his son, Donny Gonzalez (16), and daughter, Chloe Belen Gonzalez (13); his sisters Leticia Padilla, Norma Rangel, Imelda Villareal, and Margarita Gonzalez.

Donny's memory will be cherished by his family, friends, colleagues, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. In his honor, a memorial service will be held on August 14, 2023, with a public viewing between 10:00 am and 11:00 am at Trujillo Family Funeral Home. This will be followed by the burial at 12:30 pm at Mt. Calvary, where we will gather to celebrate his life and the lasting impact he has had on all of us.
