Dominic P. Yanni, Sr.

Dominic P. Yanni Sr. passed away peacefully at his home in Albuquerque, New Mexico on March 12, 2023 after losing his battle to brain cancer. Dominic was born on October 17, 1974 in Albuquerque, NM and was raised in the San Jose neighborhood. Dominic was a very talented painter, he started at a young age working for his father John Yanni. Dominic loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his loving father John Yanni. He is survived by his mother Helen Yanni, daughter Dominique Griego and wife Joann Griego, daughter Marissa Campos and husband Diego Sr. Campos, Son Dominic P. Yanni Jr, daughter Jamie Marquez, grandchildren Aaleah Maldonado (14), Zaylie Maldonado (11), Myla Maldonado (8), Danielle Sedillo (3), Diego Jr Campos (5) and Nikolas Campos (4).

He is also survived by his brother David Yanni, sister Charlene and husband Jose Vargas, brother John Edwin Yanni and wife Tina Yanni (aka Dominic’s best friend) and by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and newly born great twin nephews Giovanni and Aaron Yanni.

Viewing and rosary will be celebrated at Trujillo’s Funeral Home on March 22, 2023 at 10:00 AM, burial will follow at San Jose De Armijo Cemetery on Arenal.

Pall bearers will be Diego Campos Sr, Joseph Gonzales Jr. John Yanni, Michael Yanni, Joann Griego and Diego Enriquez.
