Deshawna Audrey Monte

It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of our beautiful daughter Deshawna Audrey. Deshawna flew with the Angels on September 20, 2024, at the tender age of 32.

“Deshawna” a beautiful soul inside and out, brought immeasurable joy and light to everyone she encountered. Without hesitation she shared her radiant smile, a shoulder to lean on, an ear to listen, her hands and arms to hold, and her kind heart to help others in any way she possibly could.

Deshawna had a sincere concern with needs and wishes of others. She never hesitated of othered before herself. Her selfless love for her son Josiah was unconditional. Although Deshawna had many talents her life was filled for caring for others like taking care of her grandma Terrie.

Deshawna loved to travel visiting several states and enjoyed and visited multiple beaches during her short time with us. 

Left to treasure and cherish exquisite memories of Deshawna are her 8 year old son Josiah, Father and Mother Manuel and Carmella Martinez, Sister April Martinez, Brother Michael Martinez and Niece Scarlett Manclova. Grandpa Ray Martinez, Grandma Alicia Martinez and Grandma Terrie Apachito. Uncle Tony Herschbach and Auntie Dora Herschbach, Uncle Ruben Martinez and Auntie Rita Martinez, Cousins Matthew Martinez, AJ Martinez, Marcus Martinez, Dylan Julian and Family, Tyler Julian and family, Kyle Julian and Ayden Herschbach. Last but not least the many friends Deshawna made during her time with us. 

Services for Deshawna will be October 5th, 2024 at 11:00 am at the Magdalena Municipal Schools Gymnasium 201 Duggins Drive Magdalena, NM 87825
