Derick Lee Weebothee

September 14, 1989 — September 4, 2024

Derick Weebothee, born on September 14, 1989, in Gallup, NM, passed away on September 4, 2024, in Albuquerque, NM. He was 34 years old.

Derick is survived by his loving mother, Stephanie Francisco, stepfather Nathan Francisco, his brother Erick Weebothee, niece Constance Weebothee, nephew Jaxon Weebothee, and his beloved daughter, Stunzi Gitts.

Derick was known for his fun-loving and caring nature, especially toward his immediate family. He was always there to help, bringing joy to others through his warm presence and infectious sense of humor. Whether it was sharing funny TikToks at all hours or just making you laugh. Derick was a dependable and loving figure in the lives of those close to him.

He was a best friend to his older brother Erick, a devoted son who never missed a chance to share daily hugs, and an uncle who embraced his role with pride. Derick loved to cook, especially frying up meals, even if he wasn't as fond of cleaning up afterward. His selflessness shone through, as he was always ready to lend a hand, even when he wasn't feeling his best.

Derick's conversations were filled with wisdom and stories, making time spent with him meaningful and memorable. His unique taste in music and thirst for knowledge gave him a perspective on life that was all his own, allowing those around him to understand the "sound of his life better."

He will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. His loving soul, ready smile, and caring heart will leave an everlasting impact on his family and friends.

We are all truly blessed to have had him in our lives. Rest in peace, Derick.
