Daniel William Brick

Daniel William Brick, 56, of Moriarty, New Mexico, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and close friends on Friday, February 21st, 2025.

Daniel was born on November 8th, 1968 in Albuquerque New Mexico to Ival Brick and Sharon (Hudson) Brick. Daniel was a jack-of-all-trades man. He worked hard to provide for his family. He worked with the family business at SHIB INC drilling company until his father passed away. He started his own tow truck company, Bricks Towing, then went to work with Tavenners Towing. Daniel loved God and helping people in need. He helped with many services, providing scripture and love at prisons around the state. Daniel was a firm believer in always being there for others. He would give the shirt from his own back to anyone in need. He loved being a father and cherished being a grandfather. His grandchildren were his world and enjoyed spending time with them. Daniel liked to cook and loved hot peppers. He enjoyed sharing those peppers with family and friends, mainly to get a kick out of how most people couldn't handle the heat! He had great sense of humor and loved to laugh, a laugh to instantly brighten your mood. He was a well-known and loved member of the community who always had a lending hand. Daniel loved spending time with his family and friends, reminiscing, and going fishing. Daniel was a loved and respected man who loved his family and friends. In this difficult time, we are comforted by the memories of his love and dedication to his family and friends. He will be remembered as amazing father and loving grandfather. He loved and touched the hearts of all he met. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

Daniel is survived by his Children: Stephanie (Jesse Van Vessem) Brick and Zachary (Brittany) Brick, Grandchildren: Ryan Howard, Nickolas Howard, Gabriel May, Scarlett Tourville, Lilly Brick, Mother: Sharon Brick, Sisters: Monica Rolan and Jenelle Hosting, Brother in laws: Travis Rolan and Joseph Hosting, Nieces: Tisha Brick, Raquel (Shane) Foxx, and Amber (Paul) Krycho, Nephews: Tyler Brick-Moffitt and Anthony Brick, and loving family and friends.

Daniel is preceded by his father Ival Brick.
