Arthur Orlando Ulibarri, known affectionately as "Tudy," passed away on August 28, 2023, at the age of 78 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was born on October 29, 1944, in Las Vegas, New Mexico. Arthur left a lasting impact as a Master Barber and will be remembered for his outstanding contributions to his profession.
Arthur's passion for barbering began early in life, and he honed his skills to become a true master of his craft. With a career spanning several decades, he became renowned in his community for his exceptional artistry and unwavering commitment to excellence. He owned a well-regarded barbershop in the Simms Building at one point, solidifying his reputation as one of the finest barbers in the region.
In addition to his distinguished career in barbering, Arthur had a deep love for music and found great joy participating in numerous bands as their leader. His talent and dedication to music were evident to all who had the pleasure of hearing him perform.
Arthur proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army. His military service showcased his selflessness and commitment to protect the freedoms that we hold dear.
Arthur's genuine care and compassion extended beyond his professional life. He brought love and kindness into the lives of those around him. Diana Ulibarri, Arthur's devoted spouse and wife, will cherish their memories together forever.
A graveside service will be held on September 21, 2023, at Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The ceremony will commence at 2:30 p.m., providing an opportunity for those who knew Arthur to pay their respects and celebrate the life of this extraordinary individual. The cemetery is located at 501 N Guadalupe St, Santa Fe, NM 87501.
