It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Anthony (Dizzy) Robert Gutierrez, who gracefully transitioned on Wednesday, January 3rd, 2024, at the age of 42.
Anthony leaves behind his beloved daughter, Angel Marie Gutierrez, and is fondly remembered by his siblings Leroy Montoya, cousin Alfonso Gutierrez, Anna Cisneros, Dolores Gutierrez, Richard Gutierrez, Ronda Benavidez, Joncy Chavez, Danny Chavez, Shelly Chavez, Jerry Saiz, and Terry Saiz. He also leaves a host of nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins, and a multitude of friends who were dear to his heart.
Anthony is reunited in eternal peace with his cherished mother, Lorraine Vallejos, brother Jose Vallejos, aunt Frances Benavidez, uncle Pat Benavidez, uncle Michael Gutierrez and his loyal companion dog, Honey.
Born on July 4th, 1981 in Albuquerque, New Mexico; Anthony spent his life in Belen. He took pleasure in supporting the Dallas Cowboys and relished his mother's home-cooked meals. Known for his luck at the casinos and as a man true to his word with a heart full of gratitude. Anthony adored his canine companions Honey and Savage whom he cherished and pampered endlessly.
A celebration honoring Anthony's life will take place on Monday, March 18th, 2024 at Trujillo Family Funeral Home Chapel starting at 10:00 AM.
In memory of Anthony's unwavering loyalty and the love he bestowed upon those around him; may he find eternal peace.
