It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Angelina (Angie) McGrath, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, age 104. Angie passed peacefully at home in Albuquerque, NM, on March 30, 2025, with family by her side. Angie was born on September 3, 1920, in Watrous, NM to Abelino and Sofronia Ortiz.

After Fred’s passing in 2010, Angie chose to remain in Albuquerque.
During her retirement years, Angie pursued and shined in her creative interest of ceramics. She was a devout Catholic and an active member of the Holy Ghost Catholic Community. Angie was entrusted with the keys to the church and considered it an honor to open and clean the church daily, until she was no longer able to physically do so. Angie was a beautiful person, made many friends over the years, and will be missed.
