It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of our beautiful daughter, Andrea Angel Lucero. Andrea flew with the angels on September 8, 2024, at the tender age of 27.
“Dre”, a beautiful person inside and out, brought immeasurable joy and light to everyone she encountered. Without hesitation she shared her radiant smile, a shoulder to lean on, an ear to listen, her hands and arms to hold, and her kind heart to help in any way she possibly could. She was shy at a young age, but blossomed into a strong, confident young lady.
“Dre” had a sincere concern with the needs and wishes of others. She never hesitated to ensure the happiness of others before herself . Her selfless love for others is unconditional. “Dre” had a gift and passion for hair, make up, and fashion. Her creative skills enhanced the natural beauty in herself, as well as others. She absolutely loved making others feel good about themselves, and she was never apprehensive to show her individuality.
Our “Dre” loved all things outer space. From the cosmic rays, to the celestial bodies within our beautiful galaxy. She became an avid fan of Aliens, as she truly felt they are “a reflection of who we are, representing both the worst and best in humanity.” She was extremely proud to be unique!
Beginning at a very young age, and throughout her years, “Dre” kept her faith in God within the Holy Trinity, first and foremost! She prayed constantly, and always for others! She was a true believer, and demonstrated her faith through her actions. She was a very proud Christian.
Left to treasure and cherish exquisite memories of Andrea, our beautiful “Blue Bird”, are her mother, Eileen Luna and husband Russell. Father Paul Lopez-Lucero and husband Jesse. Brother, Paul Lucero, nephew Wade, and niece Aleia. Sister by heart, Kristin Garcia. Step-sister Ashley Campbell and husband Robert, step-nephew and niece Izaiah and Taylor. Grandmother Lucille Lucero, Partner Joey Granillo, and his mother Betty.
Exceptional uncle and aunt, Andrew and Melanie Garcia, cousins Mike and Mark Garcia, Chondra Beckett and family, and Cory Garcia. Auntie Barb Garcia, cousin’s Celina Torres and family, Cyan, and Isaac Torres. Auntie Consuelo Ewing and husband Tony, cousins Miranda and Anthony. “Dre” is also survived by her extended Luna, Lopez, and Granillo families as well as many amazing friends and extended family.
Our “Blue bird” was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Jerry and Gloria Garcia, and Paternal grandfather Roger Lucero.
