Chris Trujillo was born and raised in Socorro, NM where his Mother and Father were very active members of the San Miguel Church and his Father, Mike A. Trujillo, was a Judge for 23 years up until his passing. This is where Chris became interested in law enforcement. Chris proudly served his Country as a member of the United States Army and later in the New Mexico Army National Guard as a Military Police Officer and most recently retired as a New Mexico certified Police Officer after 23 years of service.

After a day of work, Chris goes home to his beautiful wife, Felicia and his precious children. They are the loves of his life and he cherishes every moment with them. Family is everything to Chris. Chris has always had a passion to pursue a second career in the funeral industry and has worked in every aspect of the funeral industry. Chris is also bilingual so that he may serve our Spanish speaking families.

Chris has been involved in the funeral industry for the last 14 years and was the General Manager for another funeral home for 14 years and it was sold to a corporation. Chris saw the need for a funeral home that understands the community and is not governed by corporate mandates or driven to increase profits. Chris Trujillo and his family came to the conclusion that it was time to open up our own funeral home and Trujillo Family Funeral Home came to fruition and on April 1, 2022 Chris and Felicia Trujillo opened the doors of their 6000 sq. ft. funeral home to the public and absolutely feel blessed that we are able to provide an honest price for a service that will exceed your expectations.

Trujillo Family Funeral Home is locally owned, operated and US Army Veteran owned. When you walk through our doors, you’ll always meet our owner. Chris and his staff are your neighbors. We have been in your neighborhood for decades and you see us at your church, school, local sporting and community events.
